- Treatment of serious or severe infections caused by susceptible strains of MRSA
- Initial therapy when MRSA is suspected
- Oral vancomycin: antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis caused by C. difficile and enterocolitis caused by S. aureus (including MRSA)
