Urinary Tract Infection, Recurrent [Women]
PATHOGENS
Same list as uncomplicated cystitis and pyelonephritis: major causes include:
- Escherichia coli
- Staphylococcus saprophyticus
- Other Enterobacterales
Other organisms, including Enterococcus spp. and Group B Streptococci (GBS), are much more likely contaminants than pathogens.
