- Second-line tuberculosis treatment [combine w/ other antitubercular agents for failure of primary medications (e.g., pyrazinamide, isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol +/- streptomycin)].
- Treatment of acute urinary tract infection treatment caused by Enterobacter spp. and Escherichia coli (generally not recommended) .
