- Upper respiratory tract infections (acute bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis [AECB], otitis media, pharyngitis,acute sinusitis, tonsillitis)
- Secondary bacterial infection of acute bronchitis and AECB caused by S. pneumoniae, H. influenzae and M. catarrhalis.
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections caused by MSSA and and S. pyogenes.
